MLK Essay/ Art Contest Competition

MLK Essay/Art Contest Competition sponsored by the Limestone County NAACP, City of Athens, and Limestone County Commission designed to develop writing and art work confidence skills of students. Students are invited to submit essays and art work per an assigned subject centered on Dr. Martin Luther King. Essays and art work are judged by a committee and winners are determined. Winners are given awards including Saving Bonds and financial awards. Student winners are required to read or recite their essay during the Annual January MLK Celebration.
